If you need to recharge your batteries and you want to feel beautiful, turn your home into a spa! Here are some easy spa hacks to try.
Make a Delicious Scrub
Using a scrub is a must to get rid of dead skin cells so your skin can look brighter. You can make your own easily. An almond-sugar scrub that can be used on your face and body is a great skin rejuvenator. Simply mix together 1/4 cup of almond meal with 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of honey and 3 tablespoons of almond oil. Gently rub it into your skin, concentrating on any rough spots, and then wash it off.
Enjoy a Face Mask
Relax with a face mask at the end of a hard day. You can make a soothing face mask that will give your skin the glow factor with only two ingredients: a mashed banana and 1 tablespoon of honey. Sit with it on for about 15 minutes before gently rinsing it off. Your skin will look instantly luminous because of how bananas are so rich in vitamins. The great thing about using natural ingredients is that you show your body some love by avoiding harmful chemicals.
Have Bathtime Bliss
Your bathtub is the perfect luxury spa location so start enjoying it more by adding pampering ingredients to it. An idea is to drizzle scented bath oils into your water. These will help you feel calmer after a stressful day. Great picks include rose or jasmine.
Get DIY Salon Nails
Use salon hacks to get the perfect mani and pedi every time.
- Soak your nails in water and white vinegar before you start. This will get rid of any leftover nail polish remover and it gives you a longer-lasting manicure.
- If you accidentally smear some color onto your skin during the painting process, quickly dip an old eyeliner brush you don’t use anymore into acetone before gently erasing the smudge.
- If your French manicure looks messy, you can still save it. Apply glitter nail polish to the place where the two colors meet so you can cover up any uneven lines!
Using home spa hacks is the perfect way to score relaxation while pampering your body from head to toe. Go on, you deserve it!

Very cute infograms! I was wondering why soaking in water and white vinegar makes a manicure last longer? Do you know why? Also, the rosewater and coconut oil bath sounds like heaven!!

Yes, it is , Allison!
Vinegar contains vitamins, potassium, magnesium, calcium, and iron. That is why it is a good remedy for brittle nails. Brittle nails breaks easily, so manicure won’t last long then.
That is why they recommend soaking nails in vinegar solution; to make them stronger.

The banana and honey mask sounds awesome. I am going to try it right now! I have never see that one. Thank you for these great ideas that are all natural. I have stopped buying products with crazy chemicals because they don’t work all that well and seem like a waste of money.
