My hair has been frizzy lately, and I use argan oil once and sometimes twice a week to keep it in good condition. I tried switching from one shampoo to another to find out what is best for my hair. Parabens, sulfate, and cocamidopropyl are three ingredients that I try to avoid, and believe me; it is very hard to find a product that is free of all three at once.
Lately, I received a shampoo from Nourish Beauté called Vitamins Hair Growth Support shampoo. While I did not know about shampoos that promote hair growth, I was curious about trying one.
The product arrived safe and well packed. This is the first time I order a shampoo online, and I was afraid it might arrive leaking from the bottle or something. Thankfully, it arrived in good condition.
Last year, I tried few hair growth supplements like Zenwise Labs Hair Growth Vitamins and Eu Natural Dietary Supplements, both were very helpful by reducing hair loss, and promoting faster hair growth.
This time, I am trying a shampoo that contains biotin. In addition, it contains coconut oil, castor oil, and Procapil (DHT blocker that prevents hair loss, also known by the name Apigenin).
Nourish Beauté Vitamins shampoo ( available for $39.77 on Amazon site) come with a pleasant scent and when applied to hair, it lathered nicely. You only need a small amount so it lasts for a long time (unless you have a very long thick hair). When I used it for the first time, I used it as mentioned on the bottle.
I then left my hair to air dry. To my surprise, my hair was very oily afterwards! I rinsed it thoroughly, but still it was greasy in a way that someone would think I applied an oil to my hair. That was disappointing!
I wanted to give it a second chance; I used this shampoo 3 times a week (for two weeks). Same result every time; greasy!
Nourish Beauté claim that their shampoo prevents hair loss. According to this study applying Procapil and biotin to the scalp (for 4 months) slows hair loss and improves the health of hair follicles. I did not notice any improvements in my hair condition, nothing that is noticeable. So I cannot tell if it does help promote faster growth of hair or not.
Here is the full list of ingredients:
As you may have seen, it contains cocamidopropyl, sodium laureth sulfate; two ingredients that I constantly trying to avoid.
My Overall Experience
Nourish Beauté shows signs for “Natural ingredients”, “Paraben free”, and “FDA approved” on their website. I am not an expert, but this is not a shampoo that could be labeled “Natural”.
I was hoping that it would make my hair shiny and clean, but it did not. Though it did not work for me, it might work for others, there is also a 100% money back guarantee.
I believe that clean scalp and vitamin supplements are the best solution for hair loss. Still a hair shampoo that is free of chemicals is a dream that did not come true!
Have you found your DREAM shampoo?
Well, if you know any, I would love to know about it! Tell me about it in the comments section; I do appreciate your help 🙂

Spring
Hello!
I would like to share my own experience about shampoos and conditioners.
I was searching for a long time for the right one for my hair. A friend told me to DIY, she sent me so many recipes, but I did not do it. Because I think DIY works safely for face masks, scrubs. To make my own shampoo or conditioner – no, I can not take this risk.
My experience includes many different shampoos and conditioners: some good, some not so. I continued my search, because something has not reached me. I did not give up and here it is: Maple Holistics and their products. I chose the shampoo + the conditioner ( for me these are Argan Shampoo and Silk 18 Conditioner ).
Depending on the personal hair type and needs, I think Maple Holistics is the ONE.

I like to say something about hair loss and vitamins, I think hair loss is more DHT and other things than vitamins, because I see bums in the streets with full head of thick hair ,and they don’t have balanced nutritional diets
